आदमी का जन्म, आदमी का पुरखे

इण्डिया में ग्रेजुएट या डिप्लोमा लोग हर 100 में 6 के आसपास हैं ( 2010 के सेन्सस के डाटा के मुताबिक ) | 12वीं पास लोगों की संख्या भी बहुत कम है , करीब हर 100 में 10 के आसपास लोग 12वीं पास हैं | इण्डिया में बहुत कम लोग इंग्लिश सीख पाते हैं | इसके चलते बड़ी संख्या में लोगों को सिर्फ उतना ही पता होता है, जो लोकल भाषा के किताब में छप गया हो ; और इंग्लिश में छपी नयी जानकारियों से अंजान रहते हैं |

ऐसा ही एक जानकारी है - आदमी का जन्म, आदमी के पुरखे और होमिनिड |
इस पेज में सिर्फ वही है, जो साईंटिस्ट लोगों के बीच अच्छे से माना जाता है; वो जानकारिया नहीं हैं जो सर कुछ लोगों का अंदाजा है |

जानवरों के कई सारे नस्ल हैं : गाय, भैंस, बकरी, बन्दर, गोरिल्ला, चूहा, कौव्वा , आदमी ...| आदमी की नस्ल को होमो-सेपियन्स (homo sapiens) कहते हैं | सभी आदमी होमो-सेपियन्स हैं | शरीर के मिलने जुलने के हिसाब से बन्दर, गोरिल्ला, आदमी ये सब को प्राइमेट (primate) नाम के जानवरों के ग्रुप में रखा जाता है | सभी प्राइमेट (आदमी, बन्दर, गोरिल्ला,...) , गाय, चूहा, बकरी, शेर,.. ये सब मैमल (mammal) याने के स्तनधारी नाम के जानवरों के बड़े ग्रुप में आते हैं | स्तनधारी जानवर चिड़िया जैसे प्राणियों से अलग हैं |

इस धरती में प्राणियों की कई नस्लें समय के साथ आज की कई नस्लों में विकसित हो गयीं या ख़त्म हो गयी |

आदमी से मिलते जुलते दो पैरों से चलने वालें प्राइमेट जानवरों को जो नस्लें हुयीं थी या हैं, उनको होमिनिड (hominid) कहा जाता है | पिछले 30 हज़ार साल से धरती में होमिनिड की सिर्फ एक नस्ल है : वो हमारी है, याने होमो-सेपियन्स है | 30 हज़ार साल से पहले हमारी नस्ल के अलावा होमिनिड की दुसरी नस्लें भी थी : जैसे नियेंडरथल |

जेनेटिक और कंकाल के रिसर्च के हिसाब से आदमी की नस्ल पूर्वी अफ्रिका , आज के इथियोपिया के आसपास पनपी| याने के हमारे बिलकुल शुरू के पूर्वज इस पूर्वी अफ्रीका में रहा करते थे | वे धीरे धीरे करीब करीब पुरे अफ्रीका में फ़ैल गए | उनके कोई भी झुण्ड या ग्रुप जिसने अफ्रीका से करीब 70 हज़ार साल से पहले निकलने की कोशिस की, अपने वंशज आज ज़िंदा नहीं छोड़ पाया |

जेनेटिक जानकारी के हिसाब से सौ से हज़ार लोगों का कोई झुण्ड (जो शायद एक ही जनजाति के थे) जो अफ्रीका से करीब 60-70 हज़ार साल पहले सफलतापूर्वक निकला और समुद्र किनारे अरब के एरिया में पहुंचा , अफ्रीका के बाहर के हर आदमी के पूर्वज हैं | यानि के , चीनी , भारतीय , जापानी, इराकी, अँग्रेज़, फ्रेंच सब के सब 60 या 70 हज़ार साल पहले के इस जनजाति के लोगों की संतान हैं |

कंकालों की खोज भी इस जेनेटिक रिसर्च के पक्ष में है | अफ्रीका के बाहर हमारी नस्ल के कंकालों की संख्या समय में पीछे जाने के साथ और अफ्रीका से दुरी के साथ कम होती जाती है | 60-70 हज़ार साल पहले से पुराने हमारी नस्ल के कंकाल सिर्फ अफ्रीका में मिलते हैं |

( जिस किसी को भी अफ्रीका के बाहर 50-60 हजार साल या उससे पुराना आदमी का कंकाल मिलेगा वो फेमस हो जाएगा :) )

लम्बे समय तक हमारे पूर्वज जानवरों के शिकार और फल-फुल इकठ्ठा करने वाली (दुसरे जानवरों जैसी) जिंदगी जीते रहे | उन्होंने बातचीत करना कब चालु किया ये भी रिसर्च का टॉपिक है | एक और रिसर्च का टॉपिक है यूरोप में हमारे पूर्वज कब बड़ी संख्या में गोरे चमड़ी के (यानी कि कम मेलेनिन वाले) हुए |

बसना और खेती करना हमारे पूर्वजों ने 10 हज़ार साल पहले के आसपास अरब उपमहाद्वीप में शुरू किया | आदमी के नक़ल करने में महारत ने खेती , बातचीत और दूसरी स्किल दूर दूर तक हमारे पूर्वजों में पहुंचा दिया |

Woncheon Lake : just like heaven :)

Today is a day after Chuseok (चुसक) which is a major festival in Korea. This festival is actually related to the harvest time (फसल कटई) in old days of farming.

Today we went to Woncheon Lake which is 1.5 or 2 km from our home.

This lake - which was a secluded place a few years ago - has become a major tourist attraction after development of park and apartment complexes in the vicinity.

Above is first shot from my camera : the shot was in direction opposite of lake. It shows the cloudy day, which was sunny also.

The below is the shot of the lake and children playing at water pool at 4:30 pm today

Coffee shops next to lake were buzzing with customers.

This area felt like a heaven probably because light rays of setting sun made everything look beautiful.

Suwon (수원,सुवॅन,水原) : Introducing a Korean City (Part 1)

Suwon (水原) is a city approx 50km south-east of Seoul (the capital of Korea).

Head-quarter of Samsung Electronics is in in this city since it started in 1969 here.

( Samsung - 三星 - means three star in Korean-Chinese)

सुवॅन (水原) कोरिया के केपिटल सउल से 50km साऊथ-ईस्ट में बसा शहर है |

सामसँग इलेक्ट्रॉनिक कंपनी का हेड-क्वार्टर इसी शहर में है |

(सामसँग - 三星 - चीनी-कोरियन शब्द है , जिसका मतलब है : तीन तारा )

left (west) side area is known as Maetan-Dong (매탄-동, मेथान-दोंग).

But above scene is of 1969. Suwon city is developing and expanding rapidly since the days Samsung Electronics became a major player in world market.

This road-link to Dongtan (दोंगथान) did not exist 7 years ago

8 years ago, the 3 km long road stretch from Mangpo station (of YeongTong) to Suwon Bus Terminal (and then to Suwon Railway Station) had only fields and almost no building on left-hand side of road.

Trip to Jeju Miniature Park, Halasan Mountain, and ....

It was Saturday 3rd May 2014, the third day of our stay in Seogwipo town of Jeju island, ,Korea. We started at 9 am in the morning with plan to go to Hala-san (हला-सान, 한라산 ) mountain first.

Starting from Seogwipo town on car

Hala-san (हला-सान) is a volcano (ज्वालामुखी) and is the most famous tourist place in Jeju island.

San (सान) in 'Hala-san' is a Korean word for mountain.

The road goes to start of Seongpanak trail which goes to the top of Hala-san, 9 AM

'Fluid lava flows' some 20 lakh years ago on top of sea-floor (100m below the sea-level) created Jeju island and Hala-mountain in middle of it. Our goal was to reach the below crater at end of the day.

Our goal was to reach this crater by walking some 10 km on Seongpanak trail

The last volcanic eruption in Hala-mountain happened a thousand years ago, in days of Mahmud of Gazni (known in India for his plunders).

We reached at the start of Seogpanak trail at around 9:40 am, which has below facility for the people going for trekking. We parked our car there.

After looking at trail map, we decided that it would be better for us to return because trail would increase in difficulty.

We returned back from Sokbat shelter, 11:15 AM

After returning back to start-point of 성판악 trail, we prepared noodles and had lunch, and waited for our friends to join us.

After rest, we left this place at around 2:30 PM with plan to go to Jeju Miniature Park. We found below observation point on the way, and stopped to click some photos.
